Featured in the video are JW GROM. The unit’s other name is Jednostka Wojskowa 2305 (Military Unit No. 2305). GROM operators gained the nickname of “The Surgeons” due to their extensive medical training and knowledge and their surgical ability to coordinate and execute special operations. GROM was originally modeled on NATO’s tier one special operations units such as the US Army’s 1st SFOD-D (Delta Force), the US Navy’s SEAL Team Six (DEVGRU), the British Army’s SAS, and Canadian JTF2.
Rare footage of polish JW GROM operators during combat operation in Afghanistan. Operators were surrounded and ambushed by 80 Talibans. Fight lasted for 3 hours, 20 Talibans including their commander were killed, 14 more were injured.
