In addition to external reviews, personal experiences carry a unique weight. Of course we decided to wear them ourselves to really test these boots out. With the recent drop in temperatures I thought I could really see how well this boot would perform.
I have to say, that with the 800G insulation, this would be a solid choice for a winter boot. I couldn’t believe how well they retained the heat, but also how much I did notice them on even in warmer climates such as the indoors.
I really appreciated the ankle support and the slighter wider foot fit, but this is because of course I personally have a wider foot. I also appreciated the thicker insole which felt very comfortable.
The boot is built well, and I would see no issues in getting a few years out of these with some care and cleaning.
