The T-72 tank has been around since the Soviet’s introduced it into production in 1971. It was the direct replacement for the legendary T-54/55 series of tanks and it has made a name for itself too. The T-72AV tank is basically a T-72 but has the Kontakt-1 explosive reactive armour that is fitted to the hull front and the turet. The video shown is an interview of a Syrian Army member and his thoughts on this tank.
