This is the dashcam video from the Toronto Police incident on November 21st, 2020. There is a summary below of the incident, my comments are not to criticize this officer, but they are to assist in training officers for future incidents.
TRAINING POINTS: Never ever cross in front of a suspect vehicle, especially after it’s fled and been aggressive. You can still affect arrest by knocking out the passenger window, and utilizing uses of force options from there. Never assume a vehicle is in park until you or another officer verify/place it in park. Use cover, such as your vehicle. STAY SAFE!
