This is the model “72” which is like the other unit, except now you have enough storage for 72 hours. The cheapest bag on the list, the SOG Ninja Tactical Day Pack is a great option for an EDC backpack. There is lots of space, and room for expansion with the MOLLE webbing. The pockets make sense and allow you to pack gear without issue. The exterior is designed with military-grade materials and the bag is lined with drainage holes to allow water to exit without pooling in the bag. Did I mention the price? This bag packs incredible value for the money!

Maxpedition Falcon-II Backpack – $90-100

If you are someone who is going to be doing a lot of traveling, specifically backpacking across countries, this might be the pack for you. One of the main advantages of the Maxpedition Falcon-II Backpack is that it is waterproof. This combined with the durable materials such as the military grade nylon webbing straps, make it an extremely durable bag you can throw at anything. For the price-point, it is one of the more expensive units but based on quality you’ll be happy.

SOG Prophet Tactical Backpack – $195-205

SOG continues to up it’s games and elevate past the knife market it has so heavily built it’s brand around. The Prophet backpack maintains that great quality SOG has built their brand around but deviates slightly from their military roots on the outside. The bag looks sleek and stylish rather than rugged and militaristic which makes it great for EDC.
