Glock handguns are some of the most popular firearms on the market today. Known for their reliability, durability, and simplicity, Glock pistols are the weapon of choice for many gun owners, law enforcement officers, and military personnel around the world.

Glock is a brand of polymer-framed, short recoil-operated, locked-breech semi-automatic pistols designed and manufactured by Austrian manufacturer Glock Ges.m.b.H. The Glock semi-automatic pistols are highly regarded as some of the best bang for your dollar you can buy, and for good reason. There are many different models of the Glock handgun and the possibilities are truly endless which is possibly what makes it just a popular handgun to purchase. It’s so great you could keep it stock and enjoy a great gun, but you might want to modify it to improve it. Depending on which model you end up with you will look at different addons but no double you should start here first. The large aftermarket support is another added benefit of owning a Glock handgun!

That’s why it’s crucial to carefully consider your options and choose addons that are compatible with your specific Glock model and meet your individual needs and preferences. In this blog post, we’ll explore the top 5 Glock addons that every gun owner should consider adding to their collection. From night sights to magazine extensions, we’ll cover everything you need to know to take your Glock to the next level. So, let’s dive in and explore the top 5 Glock addons!

Ghost 3.5LB Trigger Connector

I am a big fan of Glock handguns, they are my choice for work as well as fun days at the range. However, I am not a big fan of the trigger and found the stock 5.5 pound trigger connector to be off. An easy mod to improve this is the Ghost 3.5 pound trigger connector which drops the weight of the trigger pull to just right!

Night Sights or Fiber Optic Sights

Personally I think every Glock should at the very least have night sights. There are many options available from the three dot format nights to fiber optic sights. Depending on what you want to use the gun for, your preferences might vary. The three dot format nights are easy, cheap and never fail.

Grips

There are many different grip options and depending on the Glock you purchased you might even get some options included. Personally, I am not a fan of the plastic grips on these and prefer rubber ones. Talon Grips are great and for me add the right amount of thickness with grip to the gun. I would say grips are most essential for those considering a conceal carry setup where plastic might snag on clothing.

Light

A light on your Glock is extremely handy, especially for those looking to setup a Glock for home defense. Personally, the only situation I wouldn’t want a light on my Glock would maybe be for a conceal carry setup. Anyway, my favorite is the Streamlight TLR-1 series. It is durable, fights right and I like the ergonomics of the working it.

Extended Magazines

This might not be a mod for everyone, especially for those with larger Glock handguns that have larger ammo capacities. It also might not be ideal for someone looking for a carry conceal Glock setup. Personally, I like to have my home defense Glock loaded with the extended magazines. Enjoy!
